Rest in peace Jimi

I just learned today that on Saturday, my childhood mentor and friend Jimi Lott, took his own life. Jimi is one of the reasons I started playing drums and that alone gives him a special place in my heart. He was always quick with a kind word and a hug and he always gave of his heart generously. One of the things I will treasure and miss the most are going over to his house on the Fourth of July and letting off more fireworks than I've ever seen. Each year is kept getting better than better.
If I became famous, I wanted to tell him of my success to let him be proud of me.

I am sorry for your loss.

On a happier note, when would you like to come up for a weekend?

I would love to come up soon. My car isn't in good enough shape to make the drive up and back so I'll have to wait until I can afford an alternate means of transportation, like a bus or commuter train trip up.

I believe that with the train it costs $50 return.
